Tips on Using VoterBuzz – How to do an advanced search
Today we’re going to give voters tips on how to do an advanced search. If you ‘re looking for candidates of a specific party, or in a specific geographic region, this is the blog for you!
We’re using screenshots from the iOS platform, but the process is the same for Android users.
- Go to the “Campaigns” screen and click on the magnifying glass to search.
- Now, you can either Search by name or click “Filter” for more options. Click “Back” to stop searching.
- On the following screen, you can refine your search by party affiliation, type of campaign, election level, geographic region or a specific office.
- You may note that “Office” is not available. Once you choose “Candidate” under the “Type” menu, the option to search by office becomes available. (This is because you can’t be a committee running for an office. Makes sense.)
Once you have selected all of your filter options, select “Submit” to view results.
